Roughly the same size as, if not larger than, their prehistoric forebearers, there were four variations of the cloned Pteranodon, which all had abnormal features that their original counterpart lacked. This would have been the shore of a shallow sea when these creatures were alive, supporting the theory that they were fish eaters. Quite a few Pteranodon skeletons have been found in Kansas in the central part of the U.S. Their diet was comprised of fish and scavenged remains of dead marine animals. It probably used the long crest on the back of its head to help it steer while flying. Pteranodon means "toothless wing," but despite this, it appears with teeth in one of the movies. Pteranodon males had a wingspan of 5 meters (16 feet), while females had a wingspan of 3 meters (10 feet), making the males one of the largest Pterosaurs found. Members of the Pterosaur order lived through much of the Mesozoic, some species of Pterosaurs with wingspans close to 11 meters (36 feet). Pycnofibers were very hair-like in appearance and, like hair, were made of keratin. These reptiles did not have feathers but rather had a basal type of integument along the same lineage from which feathers evolved, called pycnofibers. Bumpy walks through the forest, and runs into a still breathing Ben. They decide that before they come back, they stick together. However, when they arrive, the ferry has left. Toro still walks away, defeated, and the explosion created a hole in the wall so that the group can run to the ferry. Darius causes an explosion using a shock prod and gas canisters to blow Toro up but it still doesn’t kill the dinosaur. During the confrontation with Toro, Sammy helped Yaz from falling off, finally convincing Yaz to thank Sammy and possibly managed to forgive her. Darius starts to lose hope, but the group tells him to get back up. They find an exit to a shipping dock but it’s sealed off and they can’t exit. The argument ended with Toro coming around the corner, scaring off the Compies and the campers starts to run away. To add insult to injury, Yaz make one more attempt to officially consider Sammy as her permanent enemy by saying that it really is the latter’s fault, only for Brooklynn to tell Yaz off to let go of her hate for Sammy by saying it was just her phone that is damaged, leaving Yaz confused. Brooklynn tells Kenji to not put the blame on Sammy saying that it’s not her fault that the campers got into it. They then come across a group of Compsognathus, where they get into a heated argument with each other with Kenji is very frustrated Sammy for trying to help the dinosaurs.
But the park went on lockdown so there is a lot of security gates and Kenji starts to freak out. Darius has an idea to use the tunnels to get to the ferry even faster. They keep running, but Yasmina falls down because she’s still struggling with her broken ankle.
The group is concerned about where Bumpy is and they want to look for Ben to see if he is alive or dead. They realize that they need jump off.Īn announcement is made about a ferry leaving the park in one hour. Then, Darius realizes that the monorail is going north from after they changed course. Sammy sobs and refuses to believe that Ben might be dead. Ben falls and the group is completely shocked and upset as Ben falls from the monorail.
But what if they're too late?ĭarius desperately tries to save Ben as he hangs on to his hand. It's a race against time as the campers make their way to the main dock to catch the last ferry leaving the island.
